Dr. Allan Rosenbaum recognized as an FIU Distinguished University Professor

Dr. Allan Rosenbaum has been recognized as an FIU Distinguished University Professor, the highest rank available to Full Professors of the University. This is a well-deserved designation recognizing Dr. Rosenbaum’s leadership and dedication, continued contributions, and distinction in the field of public administration and affairs over the past decades.

A Professor of the Department of Public Policy and Administration, Dr. Rosenbaum is the President-Elect of the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA), one of the largest professional associations in the world in the fields of public administration, policy, and affairs. He is the third person being elected twice as the ASPA President in ASPA’s over 85 years’ history. Dr. Rosenbaum is also the founding director of the Institute for Public Management and Community Service (IPMCS) at FIU and has been organized the annual Inter-American Conference of Mayors and Local Authorities since 1996.
