The U.S. President’s Fiscal Year 2016 Budget cites a study which was co-authored by Alexander Kroll who is an Assistant Professor in FIU’s Public Administration Department.
Diana Wolfson, FIU Community Development graduate student, is part of the team at the Hallandale Beach Community Redevelopment Agency being recognized for the Smart Growth Award of Excellence. Hallandale Beach will implement an aggressive plan to build a world class park system over the next six years.

The National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) awarded a grant to support a research project entitled Public Procurement Salary Benchmarking and Employee Turnover Analysis. Dr. Mohamad G. Alkadry and Dr. Susannah Bruns Ali collaborating and will lead the research.
Jacqueline Crucet, Program Manager at National Parks Conservation Association and graduate student at the Department of Public Administration, is the recipient of the 2015 Director’s Partnership Award. The award recognizes the outstanding achievements carried out by national park partners nationwide.
Master of Public Administration and Ph.D in Public Affairs students participated in a study abroad program “Multilevel Governance Issues and the European Union: The Case of Bulgaria." The course, which involved sessions at FIU before and after, featured five days of seminars and site visits in Bulgaria between October 26-30, 2015.
