American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) - National
ASPA is the largest and most prominent professional association for public administration. It is dedicated to advancing the art, science, teaching and practice of public and non-profit administration. ASPA’s four core values are Accountability and Performance, Professionalism, Ethics and Social Equity.

American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) - South Florida Chapter
The Society is the professional home for more than 9,000 PA practitioners, academics and students with its South Florida Chapter consisting of more than 200 members. The Chapter embraces the society's original concept in finding ways of assisting its members to work better in their profession under the auspices of the national founder.
American Association for Budget and Program Analysis (AABPA)
AABPA members are government budget and program managers and analysts, academic specialists, and analysts in the private sector. AABPA organizes symposia, free monthly programs, a quarterly newsletter and journal, and annual receptions to help our members keep up with the latest developments in their field, establish and maintain valuable contacts, and sharpen the skills and knowledge they need to enhance their careers.
Association of Government Accountants (AGA)
AGA supports the careers and professional development of government finance professionals working in federal, state and local governments as well as the private sector and academia. Founded in 1950, AGA enjoys a long history as the thought leader for the government accountability profession. Through education, research, publications, certification and conferences, AGA reaches thousands of professionals and offers more than 100,000 continuing professional education (CPE) hours annually.
Alliance for Nonprofit Management (ANM)
The Alliance is the national voice and catalyst for the field of capacity building. We improve the effectiveness of individuals, groups, and organizations helping nonprofits and communities achieve positive social change.
Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management (APPAM)
The Association for Public Policy Analysis & Management is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving public policy and management by fostering excellence in research, analysis and education. With over 1,500 academic, practitioner, organizational and institutional members, APPAM promotes its mission through the annual Fall Research Conference, with the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management (JPAM), the association's journal, several award programs and various activities including international and national conferences and workshops.
American Political Science Association (APSA)
The American Political Science Association, founded in 1903, is the leading professional organization for the study of political science and serves more than 15,000 members in over 80 countries. With a range of programs and services for individuals, departments and institutions, APSA brings together political scientists from all fields of inquiry, regions, and occupational endeavors within and outside academe in order to expand awareness and understanding of politics.
American Public Works Association (APWA)
The American Public Works Association (APWA) serves professionals in all aspects of public works—a fact that sets it apart from other organizations and makes it an effective voice of public works throughout North America. With a worldwide membership over 28,000 strong, APWA includes not only personnel from local, county, state/province, and federal agencies, but also private sector personnel who supply products and services to those professionals.
Federal Managers Associations (FMA)
The Federal Managers Association, established in 1913, is the oldest, largest, most influential association representing the interests of the 200,000 managers, supervisors and executives serving in today’s federal government.
Florida Diversity Council (FLDC)
Organized in 2008 the Florida Diversity Council (FLDC) is committed to fostering a learning environment for organizations to grow and leverage their knowledge of diversity. Currently comprised of five active Councils throughout the state of Florida. The FLDC is a great opportunity for professionals, students and organizations to learn diversity best practices from the top corporate leaders.
Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA)
The purpose of the Government Finance Officers Association is to enhance and promote the professional management of governments for the public benefit by identifying and developing financial policies and best practices and promoting their use through education, training, facilitation of member networking, and leadership.
Institute for Public Procurement (NIGP)
The Institute for Public Procurement is committed to excellence in public procurement and helping procurement organizations and professionals achieve this standard. One important aspect associated with excellence is to “reduce the burden of government.”
International City/County Management Association (ICMA)
ICMA, the International City/County Management Association, develops and advances professional local government management to create sustainable communities that improve lives worldwide. ICMA provides member support; publications; data and information; peer and results-oriented assistance; and training and professional development to nearly 9,000 city, town, and county experts and other individuals and organizations throughout the world. The management decisions made by ICMA's members affect millions of individuals living in thousands of communities, from small villages and towns to large metropolitan areas.

National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA)
Established in 1967 and chartered by Congress, the National Academy of Public Administration is a non-profit, independent coalition of top public management and organizational leaders who tackle the nation's most critical and complex challenges.
National Association of Counties (NACO)
The National Association of Counties (NACo) is the only national organization that represents county governments before the Administration and Congress. NACo provides essential services to the nation's 3,068 counties.
National Association of State Budget Officers (NASBO)
For over 60 years, the National Association of State Budget Officers (NASBO) has been the professional membership organization for state budget and finance officers. As the chief financial advisors to our nation’s governors, NASBO members are influential decision makers in state government. They guide their states in analysis of budget options and formation of sound public policy.
National Association of State Facilities Administrators (NASFA)
The National Association of State Facilities Administrators (NASFA) is a professional organization whose mission is to provide leadership in the development and implementation of state facility administration practices.
National Association of State Personnel Executives (NASPE)
The National Association of State Personnel Executives is the recognized authority on state government human resource issues, trends, practices, and policies and serves as a leader and catalyst for the development of state human resources and is dedicated to enhancing the image of state public service.
National Council of Nonprofit Associations (NCNA)
The National Council of Nonprofits, the nation’s largest network of nonprofit organizations, works through its member State Associations to amplify the voices of America’s local community-based nonprofit organizations, help them engage in critical policy issues affecting the sector, manage and lead more effectively, collaborate and exchange solutions, and achieve greater impact in their communities.
National Forum for Black Public Administrators (NFBPA)
The mission of the NFBPA is embodied in the organization's commitment to strengthen the position of Blacks within the field of public administration; to increase the number of Blacks appointed to executive positions in public service organizations; and, to groom and prepare younger, aspiring administrators for senior public management posts in the years ahead.
